Texas Man Faces Multiple Federal Charges Related To Attack on AI Company and its CEO

Daniel Moreno-Gama, 20, of Spring, Texas was federally charged with attempted damage and destruction of property by means of explosives and possession of an unregistered firearm after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at the San Francisco residence of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and attempting to set the related business on fire. Authorities indicated the charges could be elevated to domestic terrorism if evidence shows intent to coerce government policy.
