Gov. Janet Mills vetoes moratorium on data center development in Maine

Maine Gov. Janet Mills vetoed legislation that would have temporarily banned large-scale data center development despite bipartisan legislative support. She opposed the moratorium to allow a $550M data center in Jay to proceed but pledged regulations for future facilities.
